Outdoors NSW & ACT invites all teachers, educators, carers and facilitators to share practice,
learn new ways and be inspired to get more of our youth outdoors for their health and well-being.
Facilitated by Outdoors NSW & ACT, this event is open to all who wish to attend,
but numbers will be limited due to capacity.

How much is it to attend?
The Outdoor Learning Mini-Conference includes:
- Friday 17th July

ONSWACT Members $255.00 per person ex gst
Non-Members $395.00 per person ex gst
University Students studying Education $150.00 per person (Must apply and limited seats available)
Accommodation options are available Thursday and / or Friday nights onsite. BYO Breakfast.
These include:
- Camp Site (Bring your own tent and equipment) $10 per night
- Dormitory Room (8 pax per room) From $20 per night
Who should attend?
Day Care teachers, Playgroup Facilitators, Early Learning Practitioners, Primary School Teachers, Secondary Teachers, Outdoor Education Facilitators... ANY individual that understands the benefits that nature provides the youth of today. This event is about taking the classroom outside in practical ways.
Why should I attend?
Practical skills and knowledge about taking your class or group outside in your centre, playground and offsite to align with the early years learning framework (EYLF) and school curriculum. You will hear from early childhood, primary, and secondary outdoor education specialists. This event will allow attendees to come together to connect, so you will learn from each other as well as specialists.
What is the value of attending?
Knowledge, upskilling opportunities, gaining confidence in taking groups outside, learning tips and tricks that can produce real outcomes, as well as navigating the challenges associated with school or organisational policies.

All members of Outdoors NSW & ACT receive 25 PD points for attending this Professional Development Event.
If you are not currently a member of Outdoors NSW & ACT,
register to receive your ticket to get one year's subscriber access for free (valued at $25 per annum).
If you want to keep your subscriber access after 12 months, you will be billed at $25 per annum.
About the event
The Outdoor Learning Conference is a way that educators can connect and share practices to be used in their educational environments to connect more kids to nature. We know the benefits of interaction with nature, so join with like-minded professionals in this one-and-a-half-day event.

Cancellation Policy
As tickets have been provided at a heavily discounted rate, it is important the maximum amount of time is provided for cancelling a ticket to this event to allow other attendees to participate. A nomination of another member of your organisation is preferred to a cancellation and tickets can be changed accordingly but may not necessarily be at the same price as charged.
Should there be a no-show or a cancellation without 7 days notice, there will be a no-refund supplied.
Please support the industry by giving as much notice as possible in the event of a required cancellation.
